Pricing

Pricing Guarantee & Conditions
We guarantee our price quotes for 30 days! A quotation not accepted within 30 days may be changed at Admiral Envelope's discretion to reflect current market pricing. All prices not covered by Admiral Envelope's 30-Day Price Quote Guarantee are subject to change without notice. Admiral Envelope reserves the right to refuse to honor any quoted price that is typographically erroneous, including incorrect trailing zeros and misplaced decimal points. While Admiral Envelope makes every attempt to price competitively, we do not make any guarantee to match or beat any competitor's price, either prior or subsequent to sale.


Shipping & Billing Fees
Quotation prices do not include shipping costs, which are assessed once your order is placed. Our shipping prices are based on standard United Parcel Service (UPS) pricing, based on the level of service you select when placing your order, plus a processing and handling charge of approximately three ($3) dollars. Your credit card will be charged when your order is ready for shipment. Custom orders (as defined in the Classifying Your Order section of our Terms & Conditions of Sale) are debited as soon as they are placed. We will send a receipt for your order by email when your card has been processed. Your receipt will include applicable shipping charges. If you need to obtain shipping costs sooner, please send an email to fulfillment@admiralenvelope.com. Please include your order number in your email whenever it is available. We will respond as quickly as possible.

In some instances, your quote may indicate an Incoming Shipping Fee, in addition to the fee for shipping your product to you. This occurs when the quantity you are seeking is greater than the quantity we maintain in inventory at our main shipping location, requiring an additional shipment to properly fill your order.


Custom Order Pricing
As per Graphic Communications Industry Standard Trade Customs, as set forth by Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF), the National Association of Printers and Lithographers (NAPL) and the Printing Industries of America (PIA), quotations for custom orders are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided. Admiral Envelope retains the right to requote a job at the time of submission if copy, film, digital media, digital files or other input materials do not conform to the information on which the original quotation was based.


Classifying Your Order

We sell many more products than just those we keep on hand. Consequently, we often have to vary our policies regarding returns, cancellations, minimums and similar concerns, based on the product being ordered. To simplify this process, we group all of our products into three categories, "Standard Orders", "Special Orders" and "Custom Orders".


Standard Order Items
An item is considered "Standard Order" if (a) it is available in physical stock at Admiral Envelope's New York location, at 214 Sullivan Street, Second Floor, New York, NY 10012, at the time an order is placed, or (b) if it is an item that has been ordered with a frequency over the previous twelve (12) calendar months that would likely indicate that the item, in its ordered quantity, would be purchased by another customer within 30 days of its becoming a part of the physical stock at Admiral Envelope's New York warehouse, located at the aforementioned address.


Special Order Items
All items that do not meet one of the two "Standard Order" criteria are considered "Special Order" items.


Custom Order Items
"Custom Order" items are items that (a) would not qualify as either "Standard Order" nor as "Special Order" items, and (b) are designed, produced, and/or manufactured to explicit specifications per customer request.


Determining an Item's Classification
Admiral Envelope retains the exclusive right to determine whether an item qualifies as a "Standard Order", "Special Order" or "Custom Order" item. Customers may obtain a determination of whether a particular item is classified as "Standard Order", "Special Order" or "Custom Order" prior to completing a purchase by written or verbal request. In the event that a customer fails to make such a request prior to purchase, and then wishes to make an exchange or return, Admiral Envelope will make a determination at that time, as to the classification of the item or items in question, and will base its determination strictly on the prior listed criteria.


Product Variance

We strive to maintain the tightest levels of precision, accuracy and compliance in the the fulfillment of your order. The intricacies of manufacturing and printing on difficult substrates and in large quantities inevitably leads to some variation in product runs. We consider the following specifications to be acceptable.


Quantity Variance
Over-run or under-run quantity variation on "Standard Order", "Special Order" and "Custom Order" items will not exceed (a) 35 percent of the quantity ordered on quantities up to and including 5M, (b) 20 percent of the quantity ordered on quantities over 5M and up to and including 25M, or (c) 15 percent of the quantity ordered on quantities over 25M. Material waste may reach 50 percent due to the requirements of custom manufacturing procedures. Admiral Envelope will bill for the actual quantity delivered within these tolerances. If the customer requires a guaranteed quantity equal to the quantity ordered, a surcharge equal to 35% of the quoted price will be assessed. If you require guaranteed minimum quantity service, please contact Admiral Envelope by telephone to add this service to your order. In order to minimize quantity variance, please note that coated stocks (e.g. subject to cracking) vary more than uncoated stocks, cross-grain stocks (e.g. subject to curling) vary more than with-grain stocks, and cover and lightweight stocks (e.g. subject to curling) vary more than medium weight text stocks.


Size Variance
Size variation on "Standard Order", "Special Order" and "Custom Order" items will range from (a) 1/8" to 1/4" on quantities up to and including 5M (hand-folded ), (b) 1/16" to 1/8" on quantities over 5M (machine-folded), or (c) 1/16" on any quantity that utilizes the steel rule die process. In order to minimize size variance, please note that coated stocks (e.g. subject to cracking) vary more than uncoated stocks, cross-grain stocks (e.g. subject to curling) vary more than with-grain stocks, and cover and lightweight stocks (e.g. subject to curling) vary more than medium weight text stocks.


Accepted Payment Methods

Admiral Envelope accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover credit cards for payment. Admiral Envelope also accepts both business and personal checks; goods will ship when checks clear and are posted to Admiral Envelope's bank account. Admiral Envelope reserves the right to enter chargebacks for all unauthorized deductions.


Sales Tax

Admiral Envelope collects NY State Sales Tax (8.625%) on all purchases shipping to locations in New York State. All amounts due for taxes and assessments will be added to the customer's invoice and are the responsibility of the customer. No tax exemption will be granted unless the customer's "Exemption Certificate" (or other official proof of exemption) is received prior to invoicing. If, after the customer has paid the invoice, it is determined that more tax is due, then the customer must promptly remit the required taxes to the taxing authority, or immediately reimburse the provider for any additional taxes paid.


Returns & Cancellations Policy

Our Returns & Cancellations Policy is determined by the product you are looking to return. Please refer to the section titled "Classifying Your Order" above, to determine which Returns & Cancellations Policy your order is governed by.


Standard Orders
Admiral Envelope offers a five (5) business day refund policy on all "Standard Order" items. Each returned item is subject to a processing and restocking fee of $25.00 for items under $125.00, or 20% of the item price for items over $125.00, plus the cost of both delivery and return shipping. Cancellations of "Standard Orders", made prior to shipment, are subject to a 10% processing and restocking fee.


Special Order and Custom Orders
Admiral Envelope offers no refunds, no exchanges, no discounts, no warranties or guarantees, and no cancellations on all "Special Order" and "Custom Order" items. Sales of all "Special Order" and "Custom Order" items are final sale at the time the order is placed.


Mixed Orders
In cases where "Standard Order" and "Special Order" items are purchased on the same order, "Standard Order" item policies remain in effect for the "Standard Order" items, and "Special Order" item policies remain in effect for the "Special Order" items.


Returns Procedure

The returned item and its inner packaging must be received in the same condition in which it was delivered. To initiate a return or exchange, contact Admiral Envelope's Fulfillment Department to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Admiral Envelope will send a Return Shipping Label to affix to the packaging. Items returned without an RMA number and an Admiral Envelope Return Shipping Label, or with an RMA issued over 30 days previous, will be refused, and a refund will not be issued. Please allow approximately 10 business days for your return to be processed once it has been received by Admiral Envelope.


Exchange Policy

To minimize complications relating to product availability and accounting, Admiral Envelope does not offer exchanges. If you need to change the product you have received, please return the product, as per Our Returns & Cancellations Policy, and place a new order on our website for the item you want.


Problematic Shipments

Damaged Shipments & Incorrect Items
To make a claim for a damaged shipment or incorrect item, exception must be taken at the time of delivery, and should be noted on the delivery receipt, and signed by the delivery agent. Admiral Envelope must be contacted within 2 business days of receipt to initiate an exchange of damaged or incorrect items. To initiate an exchange, contact Admiral Envelope's Fulfillment Department to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Admiral Envelope will send a Return Shipping Label to affix to the packaging. Items returned without an RMA number and an Admiral Envelope Return Shipping Label, or with an RMA issued over 30 days previous, will be refused, and a refund will not be issued. Please allow approximately ten (10) business days for your exchange to be processed once it has been received by Admiral Envelope.


Time-Sensitive Orders
In cases where items are damaged in shipping, and the items are needed for a time sensitive purpose, Admiral Envelope recommends placing a new identical order immediately, and citing the new order in a note with the damaged package. At its own discretion, Admiral Envelope will consider issuing a refund, instead of an exchange, for the damaged items when they are returned.


Order Acceptance

Acceptance of orders is subject to credit approval and contingencies such as fire, water, strikes, theft, vandalism, war, terrorism, acts of God, and other causes beyond Admiral Envelope's control.


Disclaimer of Liability for Consequential & Nonconsequential Damages

Admiral Envelope shall not be held liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, including but not limited to business interruption or loss of profits, arising out of the use of or the inability to use the purchased items. Admiral Envelope's aggregate liability, if any, arising out of or in any way related to its performance of the services provided for under this Agreement shall be limited to the lesser of (a) the aggregate sum of all costs of materials, labor, and other expenses required to correct any error caused by Admiral Envelope, or (b) the total price of the sold items.


Severability

Invalidity or unenforceability of one or more provisions of this Agreement shall not affect any other provision of this Agreement.


Disclaimer of All Other Warranties

Admiral Envelope disclaims any and all other warranties, conditions, or representations (express, implied or oral), unless made in writing, relating to sold items or any part thereof, including, without limitation, any and all implied warranties of quality, performance, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
